Using the correct type and weight oil is extremely important. Use of the wrong oil leads to the formation of sludge around the piston rings resulting in a lack of oil control within the cylinders and excessive oil usage. In other words, engine oils are not created equally and there is no one type that fits all applications. That why we stock a variety of oils to insure the correct one is used. We use premium filters that exceed manufacturers' specifications.....And should you find that the your engine is using excessive oil due to ring sludge, we can perform an oil system purge to dissolve the sludge, clean the internal parts and restore proper oil control.
